I’m so pleased to announce that registration is now open for Boldly Go: A Workshop for Women Who Dream of Travelling Solo here in the Queen City!
When I got back from a year of travelling solo abroad, the most common questions people asked me weren’t about the places I travelled, the people I met, or the food I ate. No, the most common questions people asked me were, “Weren’t you scared?” and “Weren’t you lonely?”
Fear holds a lot of women back from travelling solo, when the truth is that travelling alone doesn’t have to be scary or lonely.
That’s why I’ve launched Boldly Go, a skills and confidence-building workshop for women who have always dreamed about travelling solo, but haven’t yet taken that plunge.
By exploring what holds you back and gaining some hard skills on how to travel solo, this workshop will help you boldly go on any trip you’ve always dreamed of.
In this supportive small-group setting you will:
– learn travel skills from a seasoned solo traveller (me!)
– discover how to stay safe(r) when travelling abroad
– gain confidence to take the solo travel plunge
– join a network of adventurous women who love to travel
This course is ideal for new and experienced travellers who are looking to build their solo travel skills, from ages 17 – 77!

(10% of ticket sales from this workshop will be donated to Australian Wildfire relief)

*Note on inclusivity: This course welcomes all woman-identified folks, including trans and non-binary travellers.
*Accessibility note: This venue is located on the 2nd floor of an older building, with approximately 20 stairs up to the space. Unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible.
